Six white ginkgo leaves tumble toward the scarf's ends. I designed the leaves recently, thinking of a beautiful tree in my neighborhood and the cool breezes of fall.

The scarf itself is soft, thick, and stretchy. It is made of a strand of wool/mohair blend and a strand of mercerized cotton. Each wool leaf is hand knit with Size 1 US needles (skinny, little needles!).

Practical, elegant, poetic. This scarf was included in the fall 2011 issue of "The Kansas Creative Quarterly":

Brown Sheep Co. Lamb's Pride Bulky "Tahiti Teal": 85% Wool, 15% Mohair.
Reynolds Saucy 100% Mercerized Cotton.
Brown Sheep Co. Nature Spun Sport Weight "Snow" 100% Wool.

Lying flat unstretched: 53" long, 5.5" wide.

Wash by hand. More specific instructions will be included with your order.
