For a long time I looked for a book like this and couldn't find what I wanted, so now I make them myself. Perfect for working in a variety of different media, this is not the sort of book where you need to start at the beginning, just flick through until you find a page that seems right. And the different pages don't make me panic the way a lot of bright white pages would - but maybe that's just me? A sketchbook for the terrified!
There are a minimum of 35 sheets of different types of paper all mixed together, including:
10 sheets of 150gsm cartridge paper in cream
10 sheets of 150gsm cartridge paper in white
5 sheets of 90lb Bockingford watercolour paper
10 (or so) sheets which are a random mixture of coloured notepaper, handmade paper and reclaimed/upcycled paper.
