Martha's Ex Boyfriend Passenger Pigeon original painting

After reading the heart breaking story about the extinction of the passenger pigeon on Wikipedia I was inspired to paint this little gem. Martha was the last known passenger pigeon. She died in the late 1800's at the Cincinnati Zoo. I've decided this is her ex boyfriend.
