This textile canvas is made using a selection of recycled and new materials, cut and pieced together, finished off with free machine embroidery. There are three layers to this piece, the bottom is a cotton canvas, I have then laid a blue and purple cotton, plus some fabric for the windows, these lay under neither a fine cotton muslin which forms the top and final layer. I have added further fabric windows and finished the piece with free machine embroidery.
The piece is mounted on a wooden frame which is neatly finished off with gingham fabric and there is a saw tooth hanger, so all you have to do is find a suitably romantic place to hang it.
Measurements:
14.2 x 16.5 inches (36 x 42 cm) on a standard 18 mm wrap.
