This leather journal has been lovingly handmade by me. It is a wonderful way for the writer or artist to jot down notes, sketches, ideas, and more!
The cover is an embossed leaf-pattern, black cowhide leather, which has a bit of a shine to it. I hand-bound this journal using a reinforced long-stitch binding technique with extra strong black linen thread. The closure is a black leather cord, which makes it super easy for you to open and close the journal. This is a soft cover journal.
This journal contains 192 pages (counting both sides) of natural 65 lb. wausau card stock, made from 30% post-consumer materials, and is archival and acid and lignin free. The bottom edge of each page was individually hand-torn. The last page has my logo stamped on the bottom: http://tinyurl.com/72qmvzq There are six signatures (sections) to this journal, each of which were lovingly hand-bound directly into the leather. Those pages won't be going anywhere!
Your journal measures approximately 4.5" x 6" x 1.5" (11.5 cm x 15.5 cm x 4 cm) - a great size to stick in your purse to take with you wherever you go!
