This offering is for a tiny wee little Santa mouse in a wood baby shoe.I found the shoe painted yellow. I painted over the yellow paint with a brown color and sanded and sealed it. I made the mouse from muslin. His body and hat are painted with a dark burgundy paint. He has a hand stitched face and sisal wiskers. I used chenielle stems for the trim on his clothing. There is a tiny rusty bell sewn to the end of his hat and a tiny black button sewn to his jacket front.
Lil prim Santa mouse sits in an older baby shoe holding a tiny homespun stocking. Everything has been stained and grunged.
He would look adorable tucked into a prim Christmas tree or as a shelf sitter.
This completed piece measures 6" x 6" x 3" wide.
Thanks to Vicky at Homespun hugs and calico kisses for the pattern design.
