Made from exclusive Harris Tweed wool in a heathered blue weave and a deep ocean blue which was imported from Scotland. Harris Tweed is a luxury cloth handwoven by the islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland using local wool. The Harris Tweed label is sewn onto the back of the bag.
The flap has a magnetic closure and is adorned with a pretty iridescent button and a handmade wool felt applique inspired by a sand dollar. The purse is fully lined in a lovely cotton print fabric and has a zippered interior pocket and one slip pocket to keep your things organized.
Both the exterior and interior fabric is interfaced and an additional layer of heavy stabilizer was added to give the bag structure and durability. This is a structured purse that holds its shape. All seams are double stitched and stress points extra reinforced. Created by hand from start to finish in my studio and sewn with care to be both beautiful and durable.
