A Note on Care: This pendant is finished with protective products to shield it from the natural moisture and oils of your skin. Casual moisture, such as getting caught in a rain shower, will not damage it. However, the setting IS leather and therefore this piece should not be worn swimming or in the shower. If you forget and the entire pendant gets wet, remove it immediately and HANG it to dry in an airy location away from sun and direct heat.
History of the Earth Medallion: I really like wearing stones and the feel of leather compliments the vibe perfectly. So I've created these. Made from the gifts of our planet, I call them Earth Medallions; stones set in leather. Using special techniques, I prepare and form leather to snugly and securely hold a polished stone cabochon in place. After hand-stitching tightly around the stone and applying protective finishes, I cut a window to reveal the beauty within. Each earthy hand-worked pendant is an artist-marked individual creation and includes a small leather pouch for safekeeping. (pouch color may vary from that pictured)
