Thanks for stopping by and looking at these birdhouses. Each house is an ORIGINAL, ONE-OF-A-KIND piece. Each is made from various reclaimed items, from trash to treasure!
This house is called Liza. Hand-crafted from an old fuel can with the top of a milk can for a hat. Ribbon on the hat constructed from an old decorative tissue box cover.
Flower on brim is anybody's guess. Maybe a spring cap or check valve? Found it while digging through rust, thought it looked like a flower. The leaves behind the flower are brass, part of vintage lighting.
The hole surround is a brass bobeche. The perch is a decorative lighting part also.
The stand is a vintage lighting base.
Liza is approx 12.5 inches tall and 11 inches wide at the brim.
Each piece is signed and no two are EVER alike. These pieces generally have very small holes in order to keep the birds out. I design them to be garden art. These are so much fun to create. I try to find a personality in each of them and get a giggle! I hope they make you smile too!
Thanks again for looking and stop by and see my other houses at Eclectic Magpie on facebook.com
