"Double Duty Eraser. This is a One Bottle Eraser If Only The No. 2 Liquid is Used", it says at the back. "For greater efficiency use both liquids thus protecting surface of paper removing old writing."
On the lid there are Directions: "For Paper: first apply No. 1 until the ink has softened, then blot off and apply No. 2 until the ink has disappeared, then apply No. 1 again until the two fluids are neutralized, and dry with a blotter."
