This post / stud earrings is part of my " Painting on Silver Collection". This one has got dark violet and turquoise blue colors on it. I hand created this fantastic stud sterling silver earrings by applying cold ceramic on the base of the earrings. I applied dark violet and turquoise color on it but I can do it with another color if you wish.
Colored areas are cold ceramic. I mix cold ceramic with another material then I fix it inside metal circle base. It is very hard work because of the tiny surface. But result is beautiful and very strong. I color them by hand with a very thin brush and I use thick varnish on it.
Everybody thinks that colorful areas are enamel because it looks like enamel and when you touch it it feels like enamel. It is not enamel but it is as strong as enamel and I think it is harder work and more artistic than enamel.
I also hand fabricated sterling base by using silver sheets and wires and textured then cast, soldered the pins and polished.

It is approx. 1,3cm (0,51 inch).
