The fine wire that wraps the stones into place traps the strand of amethyst stones strung on a curved sterling wire. The lovely roundels with facets sparkle. All parts contribute to a modern interpretation of classic hoop and stone earrings.
I love to wrap hoops with gems and crystals, as you can see in many earring styles here in my studio. These sterling hoops are 1 1/16" (27 mm) inner diameter and 1 1/2" (38 mm) maximum outer diameter. The amethyst roundels are between 4 and 5mm each in diameter.
