Go green! This earth-friendly kit contains everything you need to give your guests a charming and memorable gift that keeps on giving. Included are completely biodegradable, plantable pots and plantable paper confetti, organza ribbon, moss and personalized labels with planting instructions for everyone.
Plantable paper choices include:
Snowflakes, leaves, butterflies, hearts, hydrangea blossoms, daisy, or sakura blossoms. Each one is made from paper embedded with a variety of annual and perennial garden flower seeds and is meant to be planted right in the pots that are included. Two plantable shapes are included per pot, and extras can be added by request, see below.
Growing with these special biodegradable pots makes everything easier too — just plant the entire pot right in the ground. No plastic waste left over.
Using a plantable, biodegradable pot also reduces stress to delicate seedlings from being transplanted. Seedlings flourish in the fiber, which is made from coconuts, because the fiber allows the plant roots to grow right through the sides of the pots instead of balling up inside a plastic pot. Mold growth is minimized and plants grow stronger root systems with these pots. As an added bonus, the plants need less fertilizer and are more resilient to disease. The fiber improves moisture flow and actually helps seeds sprout. All pots are made from 100% peat-free renewable coconut fiber, called coir.

Each kit comes with:

organza ribbon in your choice of color
biodegradable excelsior moss (we can substitute tissue paper instead)
plantable confetti pieces - your choice color and shape (2 per pot)
custom cards with planting instructions
If you'd like to add more plantable confetti pieces (up to 3 can be planted in each pot) please let us know. They are about 15-20 cents each to add. Concentrated soil pellets for each favor can also be included for 25 cents each or $20 per 100. Please let us know before you order if you would like to add them.

All paper is made-to-order to preserve freshness. The current wait time after an order is placed is about 2 weeks before most orders ship. If you need a rush order sooner than this, please contact me first. There is a $28 rush order charge that is necessary for faster delivery. Wherever possible, I recommend to time the production and shipment of orders to arrive about 2-3 weeks before the event date to ensure they arrive with plenty of time to assemble, and are also maximum freshness. Please let me know when you need to receive your order by.

Seeds are fresh and hand-gathered for planting in 2013. This plantable paper really does grow - that's a sprout growing right out of the paper in the photo at the right with the flowers. Seeds included in the paper are listed in the materials section below. They are a mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow. Favors can be started indoors right away or kept and saved by your guests and planted in the spring.

** Favors do need some assembly, which just involves stuffing the pots with moss and tying the ribbon around them. Because not every busy bride has time to spare, you can choose our 'white glove' service and have the favors assembled ready-to-go for you. They arrive with the ribbons tied, moss stuffed, and cards folded with confetti piece inside, placed under the bow at the top of the pot. This service is $2 per favor. Please contact us if you would like this added service *before* placing your order. We definitely recommend enlisting bridesmaids to help with the favors, it goes faster and is more fun — and saves a lot on the cost of favors.
