The leaf spoon rest was handmade, hand formed out of clay, then pressed with a real leaf by me.
After the first firing, it is glazed and fired again. My spoon rests are not always flat - but that is what makes them so unique. They do curve up on the edges and I used a tablespoon for my picture.
This is a Morning Glory leaf from my garden - it is absolutely beautiful. It measures over 4-1/2" long and 4-1/4" wide.
The colors are brown rust with bright (matte) dark & light aqua or turquoise and green.
You can use this leaf as a tea bag holder, trinket dish, soap holder or just a simple table decoration.
