I wear a lanyard to work, and I well know the stress and use they receive on a daily basis. My goal is to ensure that you have the highest quality product that is still a beautiful piece of jewelry. I use the best quality 49 strand nylon coated flexible stainless steel wire. It provides durability and flexibility. At each end of the lanyard I double crimp the wire to hold it secure, and I use wire guardians to cover the wire and prevent fraying as it rubs against the clasp with daily use. The magnetic clasp is a safety feature on the lanyard so that it will break away should it get caught in something.

**If you prefer or need a non-magnetic clasp for this, please let me know in a note with your order. I will change the the magnetic clasp to a lobster clasp for you.

***In addition, if you prefer a split ring or a badge clip for your id badge instead of the clasp, let me know that when you order. I can change the silver lanyard clasp to a silver split ring or a silver badge clip. Please see the last picture at the right for the choices.
