I have attached the diagram to a backing of raw silk in a lovely steel gray shade. I then embroidered a red outline all around the head, while leaving a small raw edged border of the muslin showing.
This piece is permanently affixed inside the wooden embroidery hoop, which is 6 inches in diameter. The back of the piece is finished off with a piece of heavy acid free paper, and it is signed and dated.
Made by hand in my non-smoking studio. This lovely piece is ready to hang. Thanks for looking in my shop.
