A large 1940s Art Deco brooch with a floral motif. The dull pot metal setting of the brooch is typical of pre-WWII jewelry in the United States. This brooch features a stem of flowers with two blossoms set with orange glass navettes. The navettes are prong set and foiled for extra sparkle. The leaves and portions of the stem and flowers are pavé set with small, clear rhinestones. All of the orange glass is original to the piece as well as most of the smaller rhinestones, although a few have been replaced over the years. This costume piece is unmarked and in great vintage condition. Secures with a pin and safety clasp.
