Rainbow Shower III

This piece samples from each color in the spectrum, moving from Purples to Reds. The crayons are lined up along the upper-edge and melted on a foam board using a heat gun. Specific heat is applied for the desired outcome of several controlled drips. There is direct dripping from the crayon pieces that extends to the bottom of the board. Wrappers are left on this piece to emphasized the melting of the crayons.

All pieces are sprayed with a polyurethane coating to allow mild protection, though it is best to display art away from direct sunlight.
