I love this idea of using every scrap of fabric and resource you have available to make something beautiful and have put it into practice with this lovely garland. I have made use of all my oddments of colourful yarns by meticulously piecing them together to crochet these round penny motifs.
This garland is a wee bit boho chic and has lots of granny chic charm. She would be perfectly at home adding a wee splash of colour to a bare wall or maybe hanging by your window where the light could make her colours glow. My garlands also look great when you hang a bunch of them together, see the last picture for an example.

As you can see from the second, third and fourth pictures Edna has sixteen multicoloured penny motifs strung along a cream crocheted cord.
Colours include: red, buttermilk, grass green, mustard, cream silver, damson, soft gold, indigo, moss green, fuschia pink, beige, orange, russet, apple green, soft pink, soft teal and vintage pink.
She is approx 180cm (70 inches) long and her decorations are approx 5cm (2 inches) in diameter.
As with all my penny garlands she has one of my signature embroidered flower labels sewn to the back of the last motif and comes with a removable swing tag that includes care instructions.
Garland - 100% cotton
Garland care - gentle handwash, press out excess water, re-shape whilst damp and dry flat, do not tumble dry.
