This collection of hand painted silks is exquisite to touch. The seam on the 2mm silk is hand stitched along the entire length of silk to an unfinished edge. The Fairy and Silky Ribbons are both stitched along the edges and finished into a point. The colors are extremely rich and will not fade or bleed like other cheaper imitations in the market. Years of personal use have proven this to be true. They can be hand washed with a mild detergent if they become soiled from use.

I acquire these silk treasures from a good friend who hand paints every silk strand within color batches. She has been painting on silk for over 20 years, using tried and true recipes for colors based in her rich European heritage.

I was interested in the silks when I first saw them from afar. I fell in love with them when they were in my hands. And when I used one to tie around my neck to hang one of my porcelain pendants from, I was in heaven…

Simple, beautiful, soft, breathable, highest quality I have ever found, and they can be used for just about anything imaginable. If they get wrinkly or crinkly, simply wet then lay flat. You can also use a low temperature iron on them the same way you would iron a silk blouse (use another fabric on top of the silk).

The details of this listing for (1) Silk Knot Bundle of Silky Ribbons (higher price point than the 2mm ribbons!):
There are 10 individual Silky Ribbons in each silk knot bundle that measure 40-42" long each, and about 2cm wide.

This listing is for the Fall Fashion 2011 color palette from the first photo (not exact match to Pantone's colors, but close in the "handmade" way).

Here are the Silky Silk Ribbons that are in the palette:
#7 Golden Mustard (*Bamboo)
#221 Peach Cobbler (Emberglow)
#219 Honeysuckle (*Honeysuckle)
#223 Concord (Phlox)
#210 Light Sage (*Cedar)
#56 Cerulean (*Deep Teal)
#64 Chocolate (Coffee Liqueur)
#65 Light Tan (*Nougat)
#91 Lilac (Orchard Hush)
#212 Denim (Quarry)

Are you asking how I came up with the pricing totals for multiple listings in my shop?
No "fancy" math. All of my silks are priced on the same retail pricing structure. I take the total number of strands in the listing and price according to my standard Retail pricing which is:

2mm Silk Strands Retail at $3 ea.
4 for $10 ($2.50 each)
10 for $20 ($2 each)
30 for $54 ($1.80 each)
50 for $85 ($1.70 each)
100 for $160 ($1.60 each)

Silky and Fairy Ribbons Retail at $5 each.
5 for $20 ($4 each)
10 for $37 ($3.70 each)
30 for $108 ($3.60 each)
50 for $170 ($3.40 each)
100 for $300 ($3.00 each)

*If you want multiple knot bundles or to include different kinds of silks within a knot, please send me a convo with the qty, color number/name and type of silk (2mm, Fairy, Silky).

I price it out according to the total qty of your order, then break the price per silk down into the appropriate price point, then calculate the new total.

For Example, This particular listing has 30 silks total.
10 of the 2mm, 10 of the Fairy, and 10 of the Silky:
2mm silks at the (30) price point = $1.80 per strand x 10 = $18.00
Fairy Ribbons at the (30) price point = $3.60 per strand x 10 = $36.00
Silky Ribbons at the (30) price point = $3.60 per strand x 10 = $36.00
$18 +$36 +$36 = $90 + $5 s&h = $95
