I am so excited about this new, triple-laced design! As soon as I had the idea, I could not wait to try it, and the final product is even more awesome than I imagined. The amount of MOVEMENT created by SIX pairs of swishy laces when you walk will stop people in their tracks from a block away! The toe is polished in a custom shade of metallic brown, edged with black detailing, and each boot has 78 eyelets, laced up with ½” black twill tape.
I upcycled and transformed these boots by splitting them open at the natural seams on the front, side, and back, and then lacing them back together with eyelets and twill. The toe details are created using a specialty leather paint that will not crack or peel. The laces are unfinished and will gently fray with wear. If you prefer, I can finish them with fray check so they will not fray.
