FEATURES: Authentic late 70s high-heeled Socialites sandals with sexy ankle straps and small wood platform. These are NOT the 90s non-vintage platforms that are all over the place here on Etsy (though they're in such wonderful condition you might think they're newer)! Italian made, very high-quality workmanship and materials. Leather is soft and supple, platforms are real wood. Leather uppers, linings, and sock linings, and leather-wrapped heels almost 4 inches high! Very shapely, curved heel. Sole is all wood, with the black portion heavily textured for slip resistance (it looks like the rubber on shoes today, but it's not).

CONDITION: Near mint, nearly new. Look as if they were tried on but never worn. Would rate mint but for some marking on the right sole. A black smudge shows in the photos on the left back heel, but I was able to clean it off.

NOTE: Our vintage shoes are second in condition to none! We buy quality shoes, and clean, condition, and polish them as needed. We glue down curling insoles, have badly worn heel caps replaced, etc. (Repairs will be noted.) We do not simply leave them "as found" and say, "We will leave the cleaning to the buyer"! Like we're doing you a favor by letting you do what we should.

SIZE: Labeled 9 N; appear true to size.But go by the shoe's measurements, not my guesstimate. Your foot WILL reach, or nearly so, the very end of the shoe; keep that in mind when comparing the shoe dimensions to your foot. We strongly suggest you measure a similar pair you may already own for comparison.

Heel to toe: 10 3/16″, measured on inside of shoe along footbed, with end of tape measure at tip of shoe).

Sole width: 2 15/16″, measured across bottom of shoe at ball of foot

Heel height: 5 5/8"

Platform Height: Approx. 1/2"
