original woollen grey blanket from 1942. manufactured in australia.
using navy blue wool we have restored this blanket with hand-stitched rolled hem & darned patches to extend it's working life.
original label 'V 554 made in australia 1942'.
added features include 'australia' woven label and chevron patch in navy blue.
s i z e: single blanket measures approx 51" x 74".
c a r e: gentle machine wash on wool cycle with warm water using wool mix detergent. dry flat in shade. press if desired with warm setting & low steam.
p l e a s e n o t e: due to the age of this blanket (almost 70 years) some irregularities may exist in shape, texture or weave. small holes have been darned with contrasting yarn, some tiny holes may still exist.
