This is a beautiful jingle seashell votive with a floating candle. I've always loved collecting the treasures from the sea. This is one of those shells that really intrigues me. The jingle shells are named for the jingle sound they make when a handful of them are shaken together. They have been called "Mermaids' toenails" and they get their shape from whatever they decide to attachthemselves to. They are shiny and give off a beautiful shimmer, especially in the light. They range in color from white, gold, gray and black. I collected these shells myself off a beach in North Carolina.

The shells are attached to a round glass vessel that we filled half way with water and have added a silver rose floating candle. I love how this votive turned out. It would be a beautiful addition to your coastal home or beach house. The shells sparkle on the votive as they do laying on the beach in the sun. This votive will bring to mind those warm summer nights you will long for this winter.

Includes one silver rose floating candle.
