This is a collection of vintage 40s art deco rhinestone belt buckles in different shapes and sizes. They are silver metal, and new old store stock-- so they are vintage but generally in "like new" condition. All of the buckles have very sparkly rhinestones, some very large, and others on the teeny side. I purchased these in the 80s from a jewelry company that had been open since the 1930s.
In this lot you will find:
3 Matching small semicircle shapes with medium sized rhinestones. (1" x .5")
2 Large matching semicircle shapes with small glittery rhinestones. (2 3/4" x 1 1/4")
2 Small matching rectangle shapes with small, subtle rhinestones. (1" x 7/8")
1 Large triangle shape that is very glamorous and glittery, completely encrusted with rhinestones. It has an interesting backing, perhaps it is part of a buckle? It looks as if it clamps on to something, or that it can be fit into two holes in fabric or leather.
(1 3/4" x 1 3/4")
1 Large rectangle shape with very very large rhinestones, and more of a brassy colored metal. (2 1/4" x 1 5/8")
1 Medium sized rectangle with medium sized rhinestones. (1 1/4" x 1 1/8")
1 Very small rectangle with medium sized rhinestones. (3/4" x 1/2")
One of the buckles has a paper tag still attached that says: "Kashman Silverwear" "CH4-2380" That's the phone number... :)
Condition: The clips are in overall very good condition, basically "like new" and have never been used. There are some hints of aging, just from the fact that they are antique, but the signs are very minimal. All of the rhinestones are intact, save for one of the 2 small matching rectangles is missing a rhinestone. It is hard to see because the rhinestones are so tiny. All items are stored in a non-smoking environment.
