It's made from a nice heavy pure cotton canvas in a chocolatey brown, and lined with a dark grey polycotton. It fastens at the front with two buttons and two brass buckles. The straps are fastened to the garment with brass rivets, and one of them has a brass D-ring on it for attaching things to.
There is a breast pocket on the left hand side for keeping handkerchiefs, monocles, and very small airships in. It's made of silk dupion. Opposite the pocket is some hand embroidery of some cogwheels, doing what cogwheels do.
Handmade by Rob, this waistcoat intentionally hard wearing and rugged, without losing any aesthetic value. If you are planning to fly around the world in an airship, this is the vest for you.
The garment is made for a 42" chest.
