The hinge is AMAZING on this finding, the best I have ever seen. When the top of the clip is down, it is not going ANYWHERE. Furthermore, the 2 peices that make up the clip do not come apart. I can not say enough positive about this clip.
I went to China recently to find these. I am confident you will be pleased.
The clip base measures .75" wide by .7" tall. They are slightly larger than most.
