I love experimenting: hammering, sawing, filing, punching... changing firing methods, times, and applications of glass. These are a manifestation of letting go of control, and trusting that something beautiful would emerge from the process.
I've handmade these playful bowls by enameling them with a select blend of glass. (enameling... i.e. fusing glass to metal at 1500 degrees). This enamel is brilliant red and fire orange, which makes for an unmatched uniqueness and beauty.
Measurements: 7/16" (1.2cm) diameter and 7/8” (~2.5cm) total length. (ear wires are sterling silver)
