This wonderful vintage 1970's tan ITT Trimline rotary dial telephone is in good working condition. Great for a back up phone for when the power is out (unlike modern phones that do not work without power). Phone includes long cable to plug into a wall phone jack.
The base is metal, while the top of the base and handset are heavy-duty plastic. There are some scratches and rub marks, but the base and handset have no cracks, gouges, or chips. The coiled handset cord is in good condition.
The bottom is marked:
* Complies with Part 68, FCC Rules
* Registration Number
* Ringer Equivalence 1.1 A
*ITT model PC200
*Use with USOC RJ11C Outlet
Made by ITT Spain 0178 (January 1978)
I placed calls to and from the phone and it works. The ringer makes the classic bell sound and is adjustable for loudness.
It measures 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) long, 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide, and 3.5 inches (8.8 cm) deep. The coiled cord is 2 feet (61 cm) and easily stretches to 5 feet (1.52 m). The plug in cord is 7 feet (2.13 m) long.
