Hand-Carved, Rock Maple, Blanched for 2 seasons under Ashram falls, Leveret, MA. 4'3"; 129.5 cm (Approx.) This Rock Maple limb was submerged, and charged, for about 1/2 year, under Ashram Falls, Berkshire MTs, MA. The Berkshires are 1 of the 3 oldest mountain ranges on Earth. The Staff bears the special absorption-staining of mineral inclusions in the grain, from the falls. Sturdy, Light, Supportive, the iconic Stag's carved head, neck and antlers are topped with a Quartz Crystal ball, that is set in magnetic Hematite. This power object is fully enlivened but has never been invoked nor enchanted.
This is my personally preferred shape for a walking staff - a cane-like angle that is extended to a higher height than would be suitable for a support cane.
There is ample space for inscriptions, names and symbols, as this fine piece is handed down through generations to come.
