This donut is glazed on the front and back (as you can see in the photos).
The last photo shows the size of the piece (a generic photo).
This porcelain clay donut pendant measures approximately 1" in outside diameter, and has a 1/2" inside diameter hole. They are all hand-made by me, and cut from slabs of clay. The normal thickness of these pieces is about 1/8" thick, but may vary slightly. This small size and thin clay make this piece very light weight.
I fire all these ceramic pieces to around 2232 F, which makes them durable (not indestructible...). A fellow bead maker once said: I treat them as I would something made from glass, which to me, is a good way to think about it.
