This set of circular wall hangings comes from Italy. Both are depictions of Madonna and child in circular, gilt, wooden frames. The larger one measures 4 3/4" across. it has a very nice picture which is covered with glass. The smaller measures 3 1/4" across. The frame is painted a vivid red with gilt detailing and the picture is painted directly on the wood - there is no glass cover. These are not meant to be a set but I liked them together and am offering them that way. They are both in slightly shabby but still excellent vintage condition.
