Our 11-inch satchel is the perfect size to act as a ladies handbag. It's the smallest of our satchel designs and is compact and sleek. Our Dayglow Pink is a truly outstanding colour. Any photograph we are able to take of this colour is simply a poor facsimile of the real colour because the pigmentation is so intense, we find it simply cannot be captured by a camera effectively. To explain how bright our dayglow effect is then firstly, think of a pink neon high-lighter pen and then try to imagine it so bright that the intensity of the flourescent effect actually makes your eyes temporarily adjust and all other colours seem dull and lifeless in contrast. We achieve this effect by using a special white pigment as the base primer directly under the isocyante flourescent dye. The two layers are then covered with a thin lacquer to protect them. The process of dying materials using this technique is very specialised, especially when working with natural leather. Sometimes small, barely noticeable flecks of paint and dust get caught inside lacquer as it's tanned - preserved for posterity like insects in Amber. Unfortunately this can't be avoided without increasing the price of the leather astronomically, but on the other hand it also ensures each satchel has it's own unique characteristics. The actual base hue of the neon pink is similar to a hot pink or candy pink, but actually comparing these colours to it would be misleading due to the neon effect.
