I love collecting little pitchers of all kinds...they can be used for so many things beyond their intended use. Serve Jam, or honey, or mmmmm, maple syrup for your pancake breakfast! Maybe as a small vase, or q-tips in the bathroom....get the picure? The only limit on this sweet little item is your imagination.
It's "loved and worn, but still oh so useful" status is most apparent on the handle, where the gold paint has rubbed off. Otherwise in great condition, no chips or cracks.
I have not been able to determine what pattern this is, but did learn by researching the back stamp that it was made sometime between 1921 and 1941 - after they started stamping with "Made in Japan" as opposed to "Nippon" which was the native name for Japan.
