Shavings and sawdust are added to the compost pile, big chunks become fuel for the grill or fireplace, and some of the better remnants are carved into chopsticks and other accessories.
Each one is whittled down using two or three handplanes and spokeshaves, then is sanded lightly and finished with food-safe, non-toxic Mineral Oil.
These are modeled on a pair which we received as a gift with a sushi set. Many call them "Japanese-style" because of their
10 1/2" length. (26-27cm)
If preferred, they can be cut down to the shorter Chinese-style length (about 8") or to any other length at no
additional charge.
Priced per Pair.
