In my quest to make (semi) anatomically correct sea creatures, I created this squid pattern as a companion for my octopus pattern. It has eight curling arms, two longer, straight tentacles with shaped suction pads on the ends, a mantle and head fins like a real squid.
Requires worsted weight yarn, hook sizes F and J, polyfill or some sort of head stuffing, craft eyes. Super fun and quick, minimal sewing as the mantle, arms and tentacles are one piece.
