He’s sweet but rather shy. “Shy” the seahorse likes to peek out from behind the kelp. He anchors himself there and gently sways with ebb and flow of the current. With an open mouth, he’s ready to vaccuum up any interesting food that might swim by. Shy is an anatomically male correct with a pouch. Due to small parts and the internal armature—this design is not suitable for small children and is best used for display purposed only. The small version of Shy (shown in rust tones) measures 5 ½” long, the large (shown in cream) is quite the handful at 14”.
As with all crochet patterns, a knowledge of basic stitches and the ability to increase and decrease is required. All Angelsun patterns use US abbreviations as set forth by Yarn Standards for publication. Please note that this varies from those used in the UK and possibly elsewhere.
