You reap what you sew no. 1 is embroidered in slate and aqua on beautiful homespun linen that is between 100-120 years old. The embroiderer holds a needle and thread and is in the process of stitching another woman.The porcelain doll arm is from Germany and was dug from the earth from the grounds of an old doll factory that operated between 1890-1920. The piece is framed in a vintage metal embroidery hoop that is 9 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches tall. The piece is backed with wool felt and is signed and dated on the back. It hangs with a simple vintage ribbon.
