Blue Hydrangea Painting - 12 x 16 Original Oil on Canvas Panel

This is an original oil/alkyd on canvas-wrapped board by me, Atlanta artist Susan D. Kennedy (check me out at susankennedy.com!) The size of this medium abstracted hydrangea floral is 12" by 16", and it is an original on a standard canvas panel (which is about 1/8" thick), ready to pop into a frame (don't use glass!); I know Hobby Lobby carries one or two 12" by 16" readymades, not sure whether other places have them readily available.

I veered into semi-realism while on a painting jag....my hydrangeas were dreamy, and I can never resist painting them. Now the blooms are still on the bush, but they look blotchy and faded and spotty. Sigh. The painting is titled "Hydrangea Garden Study" .
The painting is done in archival Winsor and Newton alkyd "Griffin" oils, and it comes unframed.
