Every rose is carefully designed, handmade and hand sewn for lasting beautiful perfection. I take my work seriously and passionately as I am a consumer who appreciates high quality, couture and one of a kind items.
Most fabrics, primarily my silks, voiles and linens are purchased from high end couture fabric shops. I do use vintage fabrics when I come across something special and these are always noted as vintage at the “color and fabric” detail spot.
Fabrics are carefully measured out, cut and made into beautiful roses and designs. I use only the highest quality items. For example, threads are from Germany - Shoe clips are from France - Earrings are only Sterling Silver and are from Spain. Most fabrics are from India, some American and some from Japan. Some fabrics and notions are from China and I am very careful about quality control when using these items. I tend to discard a high percentage of these things as I only want to put out the highest and best.
Shoe clips are the best on the market. Bluette shoe clips are Made in France and have been used by the haute couture designers for years. I have embedded these shoe clips into the rose and sewn them into place. I've had customers wear their shoe clips regularly for over a year and still going, no problems.
