This ocean pendant Octopus is about 1-3/4 inches wide.
A handmade Blue Pearl Octopus Pendant. With this glass pendant I use rods of glass both colored and clear and mixes them to get the effect that I want.
This Octopus Pendant has a simple coloring and then it is mixed with another colors to give the octopus it's special ocean color effect. Perfect beach jewelry and the scuba diving crowd.
Octopus can often times change colors and that helps them to be protected in their natural environment. You may want to give this one some protection in a special environment close to your heart!
I have been studying Sea life animals such as this Octopus and this pendant came about as a result of my interest in sea life animals. I try to observe the octopus while they are in their natural environment.
At times I take Photos of them or acquire pictures from the web and study them in their natural surroundings and then I begin the process of changing the glass to art using fire. I melt glass rods and add different colors to try to imitate their design. At times it may take me a number of tries before I actually get them to come out successfully.
This Octopus Pendant is about 1-3/4 in length and is mounted on a 16 inch black adjustable pendant cord that extends from 16 to about 26 inches.
