Starting at the center of this round embroidery hoop, I've hand-sewn french knots that begin as dark burgundy, maroon and mulberry red. From there, as the knots start to get farther apart, the color also begins to fade into a deep brick red, bright apple red, then all the way down to rosey pink and finally a subtle pale pastel rose. This abstract piece was a fun experiment to see how I could progress the knots from dark to light in a beautiful gradient.

While it may look simple, it actually took about 6 hours to sew this piece, as the hoop contains hundreds of knots in 15 different colors from dark to light red.

The hoop measures 5" (12.7 cm) and I've left the back uncovered (which you can see in the third picture). I've stained the wooden hoop a dark chocolate brown.

This piece is ready to hang by the hoop screw, or it can be propped on a flat surface; just be sure to hang it out of direct sunlight to avoid fading. For shipping, this piece will be carefully bubble-wrapped to ensure it arrives safely. The piece is completed and you will receive the exact hoop pictured here.

To keep shipping costs down, I mail everything via USPS First-Class mail with delivery confirmation and tracking, unless otherwise requested (just email or convo me before you order if you want faster shipping or insurance for a slightly higher fee). Once you place your order, I guarantee to ship your item(s) by the next business day once payment clears in Paypal, and I always message my customers with a tracking number for their domestic orders.
For international orders, I will issue a Paypal refund of the difference if shipping ends up costing less than what you pay.
