Okay, so a few weeks ago I was browsing all the lovely Etsy finds, when I stumbled across a play suit from the 40's and instantly fell in love with it. I thought to myself "I HAVE TO MAKE THIS" And so I kept the photo up on my computer for days while I drafted out the pattern using my own measurements, and after a long week she is complete!
This little number is not only 100% cotton for amazing breathing and light weight capabilities but it also zips up the front for easy in and out access! The blue tie is a seperate piece which you can wear around your neck, around your waist, or in your hair, pretty much anywhere your little heart desires. The red bib was upcycled from a fantastic table cloth I salvaged, and the blue linings was also upcycled but from a dress I had made months ago and never finished but I loved the blue with these stripes so I had to make the sacrafice! The anchor prints on the bib are also drawn by me and hand cut and silkscreened by me, so they can also come in any color.
