A dainty dragonfly landed on sea glass finished emerald green glass, evidently to see what the shimmering was. Ok, not really. ;-) A dainty dragonfly created in glass by my hand on an emerald green base with pure silver foil encased in the glass to give it subtle shimmer. The base bead has been etched, so has a glowing matte finish similar to sea glass. The dragonfly has a semi-transparent lavender tail and thorax, wings of black with iridescent blues atop and large black dragonfly eyes.

This piece was sculpted by me in the flame in my home studio, and is solid glass. Each piece I make is unique, no two are exactly the same.
