*Gold-fill is a budget-friendly alternative to solid 14k gold with much of the same quality. It is NOT the same as standard gold plate. For a comparison: gold-fill is 1/20th gold where as gold plate is 1/200th gold. Gold-fill is a VERY thick gold plate and the quality is made to last many years even with every day wear.
