Since we know that all families look different from each other and the culture within a family may not fit the wording of this sign exactly, we also have 4 substitutions that can "come off the bench" if they better fit your family. If you want any of these 4 substituted for any of the original lines just make a note in the purchase transaction.
If you have other things that your family does for each other that is not listed it is absolutely possible to customize it for you. For every custom line there will be a $10 additional charge. This sign measures approximately 33"H x 24" W x 3/4". It is made with 3 pieces of solid knotty pine, fastened together by several woodworking biscuit joints. In keeping with the beauty of the natural wood we embrace the knots and scraps that are individual to each sign! Each sign is a bit different than the last. That is what makes it special!
It has been painted with several coats of a Chamois Tan base and then several more with Black. It is then distressed for a vintage, shabby chic look. The words are hand painted with a custom cut stencil in Chamois Tan. No vinyl lettering is used. There are 2 large, sturdy steel D-ring hangers on the back for easy hanging.
This sign is available in all of our "house" colors. They can be seen in the photo above.
