This handsome coptic bound journal is one of a kind. I have handmade this journal by covering book board in a Japanese rice blue patterned paper. It has stunning colors of navy blue, light blue and turquoise in a hexagonal design that is ideal for both males and females. Care has been taken in the finishing to miter the corners and center the design. The interior cover has been finished with black paper. Over leaves have been inserted in the front and in the back in a gorgeous turquoise handmade paper from Nepal. The book has been hand sewn with blue and turquoise coordinated colored waxed linen thread. There are 8 signatures each with 4 sheets of 100% acid free heavy hot pressed smooth paper. There are a total of 64 pages (128 front and back). This heavy paper is a beautiful natural ecru that has hand torn deckled edges exposed. It is the perfect surface for sketching and journaling in either ink or pencil.
