This desk was definitely an ugly duckling! Yet another victim of the 80's, it had been refurbished with a faux wood grain painting technique. Now I am all about some faux bois - but this - not so much.

A lot of sanding, a couple coats of hard core priming, and a lovely jamaica blue turned it all around. Now, it is ready for any darling, little or tall, in your lovely family.

The desk was stamped with the date 1954, so it was made mid century by a woodworkers union. It is a perfect petite size, wonderful for your child's room, or for your extra small Chicago office (we've seen plenty of those).

Dimensions: 41.5" wide, 21" deep, and 29.5" high.

Shipping is via Greyhound Package XPress to your local terminal. Quote is an estimate only, so please convo for a more accurate cost analysis (fancy terminology; are you impressed?)

As always, this piece is a little slice of vintage heaven, so expect minor dings and dents.
