Inspired by my love of the southwest, Desert Luminous sings a sweet song of free spirited loveliness and rugged strength. Two circles, cut by hand from copper sheet, have been hammered for a lush texture and abstract, flowery shape. Embellished rustically on the surface with sterling silver beads, the remembrance is of a desert landscape. Ivory white freshwater pearls leave a trail of whimsy, giving lots of eye catching movement. I’ve given these girls a patina and then brushed them to a lovely satin finish. Striking and surprisingly very lightweight!
