A bold graphic pattern on black and taupe, these towels are right at home in any kitchen. Colors are opposite on reverse side, as you can see in the photo of all the colors.
A linen blend yarn gives the fabric body with a smooth look.
All towels are handwoven by me, finished with a machine stitched hem, include a label loop for hanging and have been machine washed and dried. They become more absorbent with use.
All are generously sized and can be used as table mats, tray liners, or towels.

People often ask how I got interested in weaving. I really don't know. So, my answer is that my mother used to take us to restored historic villages when we were kids. I think that watching the weavers must have been the thing I liked the best. Fibers have always attracted me, as well as the mechanics of a loom. In creating something so basic as cloth, I feel connected.
